Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Saturday promised that the State Government would provide free housing to all the poor persons in the State.
Addressing a public meeting at Ghareeb Nagar in Gisukonda mandal of Parkal Assembly segment in Warangal district here, KCR said that the government was committed to provide pension, ration cards and free housing to all the poor persons. During his third day of Warangal visit, KCR also interacted with the residents of Ghareeb Nagar. He assured that the government would provide them all assistance and soon their area would be known as "Ameer Nagar". He also assured that the encroachments in that area would be regularised as per the rules. He advised the residents to provide all the details to the officials who would be visiting them soon.
The Chief Minister also issued necessary directions to the officials to resolve the problems being faced by the people.
