An advocate from Jeedimetla here had lodged complaint with Saifabad police against AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu on his remarks comparing Hyderabad with a foreign country.

Chandrababu Naidu told AP Government employees' JAC on Tuesday that sitting in Hyderabad and ruling AP was giving him a feeling of administering the state from a foreign country.

The advocate, Rajasekhara Reddy, said in his complaint that the remarks had denigrated the Telangana people and the state.

He requested the police to take action against him as his remarks had violated several laws and the provisions of the constitution. Police have registered a case.
