Congress MLA DK Aruna's comments sparks fire in Assembly
Making controversial remarks on the TRS MLA Enugula Ravinder Reddy, Telangana State Opposition Party Congress MLA DK Aruna on Tuesday began her discussion by raising the issue of Highways in the state and Gurramguda issue in Rangareddy district.
When received objection from the TRS MLA over allegations of the TRS Government, DK Aruna asked him to shut his mouth and said that he doesn’t know how to respect women as TRS Government has not inducted any woman Minister in their cabinet, which lead to a ruckus created in the Assembly.
Responding to the remarks, Minister KTR said that the Congress MLA DK Aruna should learn to respect the legislators first as they are all elected by the public and represent the people from various constituencies. KTR also suggested that DK Aruna, should follow the ethics of the Assembly.
KTR on women not being inducted into the TRS Government said that due to various equations, women are not inducted but unlike the congress Government the women Ministers and IAS officers are not harassed and sent to jails by the TRS Government.
