Vijayawada is in the number two spot in crime rate after Delhi and a source for arms for Maoists. These facts came to light following a presentation by the home department in the pre-budget session held in Vijayawada on January 7.
Vijayawada’s dark side was revealed even as Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, keeps reiterating that there will be a world class capital around Vijayawada. Several officers, including senior IAS officers were shocked at the presentation.
