Hyderabad: With Telangana government’s decision not to set up helpline centres in Andhra Pradesh for certificate verification for admissions to Telangana engineering colleges has left the AP candidates annoyed. In the first Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (Eamcet), 9332 candidates of AP qualified in the engineering stream.

Taking a cue from AP government which did not set up single helpline centre, the Telangana government is following suit. This indifferent attitude of both the governments has left thousands of students in despair. The certificate verification process for engineering stream of TS Eamcet will begin on Thursday (June 18) and will conclude on June 23.  

All AP candidates who qualified for Eamcet can get their certificate verification done at helpline centres in Suryapet of Nalgonda district, Mahabubnagar district and Khammam district as they are bordering districts of Telangana with AP state.
