Earthquake hits Vijayawada and Kakinada. An earthquake of moderate intensity shook Vijayawada, Rajahmundry, Kakinada and Tulluru mandal areas. Panic stricken people were seen running out of their homes and shops.

The earthquake measured 6.7 on the richter scale. There were no reports of damage or casualties.
