Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is facing the repercussions aftermath an audio tape allegedly having the voice of AP CM Chandrababu Naidu surfaced on Sunday. A slew of cases have been lodged against Telangana CM KCR in the state of Andhra Pradesh on the charges of making false documents and criminal conspiracy. While the first case was reported in Visakhapatnam, TDP MLA Bonda Umamaheshwara Rao filed similar case against KCR in Vijayawada.
Meanwhile, TDP leaders and party-workers in AP said to have filing cases against KCR. Right from Srikakulam to Chittoor, it's learnt that several similar cases have been filed. Ibrahimpatnam and Pamarru of Krishna district, Bapatla of Guntur district, Visakhapatnam three-town police station, in police stations of Ongole, Nellore, the afore-mentioned cases were filed.
TDP leaders have taken the issue seriously. It may be recalled that the AP government on Sunday late night released an official statement stating that it was not Chandrababu Naidu's voice. It alleged Telangana government of fabricating the audio tape to unpopular him, his government. It also alleged that Telangana government is "tampering" the evidence in the alleged note-for-vote scam.
