Telangana state Deputy Chief Minister Mohd Mahmood Ali questioned why should his government arrest AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu who is allegedly involved in cash-for-vote scam. He makes it clear ACB which is investigating the case will look into the matter and Naidu will be taken into custody if he was proven guilty.

On the allegations of phone tapping against TRS Government, Mahmood Ali declares there is no time for them to take up such activities and advises Naidu to focus on governance in AP rather than crying foul over the leaked proofs. He stressed there is no need for intervention of Centre in this matter as its not related to the dispute between the two Telugu States.

The Minister expressed the view its Chandrababu Naidu who will be on the losing end for his direct involvement in bribing an MLA belonging to the other party. He feels TRS Government has got nothing to worry despite serious allegations leveled against it post the leak of audio tapes.
