The Karnataka High Court will deliver its verdict on May 11, 2015 on the appeals filed by former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa and three others against a Special Court order convicting them in a disproportionate assets case.
Justice C.R. Kumaraswamy, who was specially assigned to hear the appeal, will pronounce the judgment at 11.00 a.m. on Monday, a notification on the High Court website said. The judge had concluded the hearing on the appeals on March 11 and reserved his verdict. The Supreme Court had set a May 12 deadline to pass the order. Jayalalithaa and three others were sentenced to a four-year prison term on September 27, 2014.
