Nellore will soon be developed as Automobile Hub, said Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu. Mr Naidu said that efforts are being made to set up automobile industries in and around Nellore. Chandrababu corroborated, "Already we have entered into an agreement with a slew of Japanese companies who are ready to invest in the stretch from Nellore to Chennai. Nellore will soon be one among the top districts in AP." Chandrababu added that Nellore would be made as "Smart City" and Krishnapatnam Port would be developed as "Smart Port".
Commemorating the International's Women's Day, Chandrababu promised women empowerment and extended full support to provide security to girls and women. He assured to build 13 lakh toilets across the state including public toilets. Naidu reiterated that government is short of funds. However, he stated that he'd leave no stone unturned to get funds from Centre and would do his best to develop the state despite the limitations.
Chandrababu said that plans are under way to set up more industries in Sri City Sez in Nellore. CM was accompanied by Municipal Minister P. Narayana. Naidu felicitated several women of various fields and lauded them for their achievements. Chandrababu also stated that he wants to see AP as centre of knowledge, education and healthcare.
