Reports are abuzz that AP Government's plan to shift to Temporary Capital by June this year were hit by reluctance of the Employees to cooperate.
APNGOs President Ashok Babu faults media for showing Government Employees in bad light. He declares Employees are willing to shift to the Temporary Capital if State Government provides necessary infrastruture. "What does Infrastructure mean? There is no proper definition for Infrastruture. We can't work sitting under a tree for more than 2 Days. To built quarters for employees, It takes at least 1 year," he told.
Ashok Babu asked Government take the opinions of Employees into confidence in issues related to Capital shifting. He wished a clarity on the issue will arrive after March 9th meeting with Government.
Ruling out any chances of contesting MLC Polls, Ashok Babu made it clear he neither approach any political party nor any party promised to offer an MLC seat to employees.
