Governor ESL Narasimhan on Friday hosted an Iftar party at Raj Bhavan in Hyderabad which was attended by many prominent political honchos including Telangana State Legislative Council chairman Swamy Goud, TS Assembly Speaker S Madhusudhana Chary, Home Minister Nayani Narsimha Reddy, AP Legislative Council chairman A Chakrapani, AP Deputy CM KE Krishnamurthy and other Ministers from AP and TS.

The Ministers along with Muslim religious heads and local Muslims took part in the party while the Governor and Ministers participated in a prayer organised as per Muslims rituals.

However, the Iftar party was skipped by Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu. While Chandrababu stated that due to some reasons, he was unable to attend, KCR did not attend the party due to health issues.
