Telanagana Information Technology Minister K. Tarakarama Rao met top leaders of IT giants in Silicon Valley and urged them to invest in the newly-created state.

While inviting them to invest in Telangana, the minister explained several policies initiated by the government to ensure ease of doing business for investors, according to a statement released here on Wednesday.
The minister met Shantanu Narayen, CEO of Adobe Systems, who assured that Hyderabad would definitely be factored into their growth plans. Narayen, who hails from Hyderabad, said he would extend all possible cooperation for development of the city.
Tarakarama Rao, who is son of Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, also met Oracle CEO Mark Hurd and discussed various areas in which the Telangana government and Oracle could work.
The Oracle team informed the minister that Hyderabad would feature prominently in their future growth plans.
Later, the IT minister and the delegation met K.R. Sridhar, CEO of Bloom Energy, which has gained a lot of prominence as manufacturer of innovative fuel cell technology.
The minister invited Bloom Energy to set up their
