Hyderabad: Congress senior leader and MLC Rudraraju Padmaraju on Friday resigned from primary membership of Congress and announced his desire to join the ruling TDP. He has sent his resignation letter to Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee president N. Raghuveera Reddy.
Speaking to mediapersons on the Assembly premises, Padmaraju expressed his displeasure over party high command and leadership on the issues like the manner in which division of State happened, leadership vacuum in the party, inaction towards forcing central government to implement promises made by both Congress and BJP at the time of division to AP and so on. He also said he was impressed with the efforts of Chief Minister N. Chandra Babu Naidu to develop the State and wanted to be part of State’s development.
