An incident of a mother-in-law trying to drag her daughter-in-law in to prostitution to collect dowry has surfaced in the Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu's native district of Chittoor.

Hailing from Srikalahasti town, a mother-in-law tried to force her daughter-in-law into prostitution with a Police Constable. Even though the daughter-in-law managed to escape twice, her mother-in-law kept on pushing her into the racket.

Vexed with the repeated attacks on her modesty, the daughter-in-law has finally sought police support. A case has been registered after the media exposure and the police are trying to trace the constable.
