Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh assembly passed the CRDA bill only yesterday. But the farmers of some villages of Thullur mandal who are not willing to part away with their lands, went to Prashanth Bhushan, an advocate in Delhi to seek his legal assistance against the state government. They plan to file a case against the state government in the High Court if not even in the Supreme Court. It is learnt that Prashanth Bhushan willingly took up their case and cause.

Mallela Harindranath Chowdary told media that they are consulting other noted lawyers in Hyderabad city to represent their case at the courts. According to him the land pooling system announced by state government lacks clarity.

He alleged that no one from state government took up their concerns seriously and clarified their perceptions. The farmer leader said that they approached the National Green Tribunal (NGT) and also the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) with the same purpose. Once the CRDA bill gets assembly clearance they are of the opinion to start their legal battle against the state government.

It is no surprise that YSR Congress will give them the boost to go ahead with their legal challenge to the state government. So Naidu should brace up for the fresh land troubles brewing for him!
