Posters, demanding that party MLA A Revanth Reddy be made the Telangana TDP’s president, created quite a stir at the party headquarters, NTR Trust Bhavan.

The posters, allegedly put up by some Telugu Yuvatha activists, were immediately removed by the NTR Trust Bhavan managers. The posters further advised party chief N Chandrababu Naidu to elevate Revanth at the party’s annual conclave Mahanadu.

The TTDP is currently headed by L Ramana and the party’s legislature party is headed by Errabilli Dayakar Rao. There are reports that Revanth’s relations with Dayakar Rao are strained. The posters cropped up just days after Naidu had successfully toured Mahbubnagar, Revanth’s home turf.

Revanth, meanwhile, condemned the posters and clarified he had no such aspirations. “I am happy and comfortably working under the leadership of Ramana and Dayakar Rao. Such posters will not go down well with the party cadre,’’ he said and asked party activists not to resort to such damaging acts.
