The Republican Party of India and its trade union – Democratic Indian Trade Union (DITU) – and Forum for IT Employees (FITE) condemned the action of the Tata Consultancy Services of terminating the services of its employees working in Hyderabad and other centres across the country.

The RPI national general secretary, Bojja Tharakam, and other office bearers said in a press note on Wednesday that dismissal without any reason by TCS, one of the prominent leaders of software field, was highly condemnable.

Terminating staff without assigning any reason or cause was part of a game of terminating the services of seniors and recruiting new faces at lesser pay, they said.
