Thiruvananthapuram: A case has been registered against Kerala Congress MLA MA Vaheed for making sexist remarks against MLA ES Bijimol.

She had also sought to register a case of sexual harassment against Labour Minister Shibu Baby John and District Congress Committee president KC Abu but police said there was no scope for registering a case against them.

During the Assembly mayhem last week when the state budget was presented, Bijimol was seen rushing to the seat of Chief Minister Oommen Chandy. She was physically blocked by Shibu Baby John. She has accused KC Abu and Vaheed of making defamatory statements against her in connection to this.
