Villagers of Kolleru in Krishna district are demanding nomination of TDP leaders from their village, for the two MLC seats that fell vacant in their district. One of the names they suggested was former MLA Jayamangalam Ramana. They passed a resolution in the Gram Sabha to this effect. He belongs to one social sect which is not getting much recognition since long, they said.
