For the first time students appearing for Eamcet can have the freedom of writing the exam at any centre other than they have been allotted to. However, students are advised to keep it as the last resort only if they are unable to make it to the designated centre on time.
This was announced by deputy chief minister Kadiyam Srihari on Wednesday in Warangal while speaking to press persons. “As some students get anxious and go to other centres, we have issued instructions to officials to let them take the exam without any hitch,” he said.
The decision to call off the strike by RTC employees has brought relief to over 2 lakh candidates appearing for the exam. However, the minister reiterated that the candidates would not be allowed even if they are late even by a minute. He appealed to candidates to make necessary arrangements to reach the centre before time.
Meanwhile, Eamcet convenor N Ramana Rao informed that all arrangements were in place like placing wall clocks in the centres. As many as 2,31,998 will appear for the maiden Telangana Eamcet in 423 centres across the 10 districts of the state.
