TDP Legislator Damacharla Janardhan Rao got away with minor bruises after the car in which he was travelling met with an accident. The collision between the car and a tractor resulted in injuries to the MLA's Driver.

Soon after the accident, Driver was rushed to the nearby hospital for treatment. Family & Supporters of Janarshan Rao breathed a sigh of relief upon knowning the MLA got away without any major injuries.

Damacharla Janardhan Rao is currently representing Ongole assembly segment. He emerged victories fighting the tough battle against YSR Congress candidate Balineni Srinivas Reddy in 2014 General Elections. He is also the Prakasam District president for Telugu Desam Party.
