Telangana TDP Leaders complained against TRS Govt to President

Telangana Telugu Desam Party leader Revanth Reddy on Monday stated that they would complain to President Pranab Mukherjee and Chief Election Commissioner H S Brahma in Delhi on March 17 against the TRS government for encouraging defections. Addressing the media here on, Revanth Reddy charged Chief Minister K Chandashekar Rao with luring the leaders of other parties in gross violation of democratic norms.
 
 He alleged that Speaker S. Madhusudana Chary had failed to respond to their requests to take action against Talasani Srinivas Yadav and others for switching loyalties.
 
 The TRS government did not heed to notices and instructions by the court in this regard, he said. The TDP also decided to complain to the President against Governor E S L Narasimhan, Speaker of the Assembly and Chairman of the Council for failing to take action against the defectors.
 
The TDP leaders would meet the President in Delhi on March 17 and apprise him of the defections, He criticised the comments made by K Taraka Ramarao against AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.
 
“KTR has no stature to make such harsh comments on Naidu,” he felt. He also alleged that the TRS government was hatching a conspiracy against giving salaries for nine months with 43 per cent fitment. It was likely that the government may opt for offering bonds for five years to clear the pending bills of Rs 1100 crore.
