It's clear that the image and respect for Andhra Pradesh assembly is slowly sliding down with the ugly scenes created in the recent times. Both the opposition and ruling parties have been responsible for this mess and the damage caused.
Until now, we've heard many opinions and comments about assembly proceedings only from the in-house MLAs. But, few other political leaders who were not part of AP assembly have also started throwing some comments on it now.
Telangana minister Harish Rao has quoted that the assembly sessions of AP were nothing but a big farce. 'Those sessions looked like the party meetings of TDP and not of the whole state. By not allowing the YSR Congress to speak, Naidu has suppressed the opposition and this is a bad trend,' said Harish Rao.
On the other hand, former Congress minister Aanam Vivekananda Reddy has criticized the behavior of Jagan. 'YSR Congress leader doesn't know how an assembly runs and he is behaving in a weird manner. More than anything, how can he speak about the state budget by sitting at his Lotus Pond? I'm clueless why Jagan is opposing such an useful project like Pattiseema,' said Aanam.
Even MPs like JC Diwakar Reddy were also seen speaking negatively about the operations of AP Assembly. Let's hope that both the parties of TDP and YSRCP will learn something out of this and see that the next sessions run smoothly!
