Deputy Chief Minister Kadiyam Srihari disclosed the details of funds and land sanctioned by the State government for the construction of Bhavans for the people of various castes and communities. Replying to a question raised by MLA G Balaraju and others, the Deputy Chief Minister informed that Babu Jagjeevan Ram Bhavan was being constructed with an estimated cost of Rs 2.50 crore on one acre of land at Road No 10, Banjara Hills under Scheduled Caste Development Department.

Similarly, Rs 2.40 crore and one acre of land each has been sanctioned for Komaram Bheem Adivasi Bhavan and Banjara Bhavan at Plot No 24, Banjara Hills under Tribal Welfare Department. The Christian Bhavan will come up on two acres of land at Marredpally at a cost of Rs 10 crore. Likewise, the Doddi Komaraiah Memorial Bhavan was being constructed on one acre, 20 guntas under Backward Classes  Welfare Department at a cost of Rs 5 crore. Kadiyam also informed that Rs 10 lakh has been sanctioned for Kerela Bhavan under the Special Development Fund for Welfare and Development Activities under Planning Department.
