AP villagers,Tamil Nadu buses stopped,Seshachalam encounters,APSRTC
Hyderabad: Adding fuel to the escalating tensions between Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu over Seshachalam encounters, AP villagers living on the boarders of TN have threatened to stop the plying of the neighbouring state buses.
Soon after the Seshachalam encounters, TN activists had damaged buses belonging to Andhra Pradsh. following which, APSRTC and all private AP bus operators had withdrawn their buses services to the neighbouring state. However, TN buses were making the most of the situation.
As a result, APSRTC alone had incurred a loss of Rs 108 crores.
In retaliation, people of Varadayapalem in the Chittoor district have issued the threat and had informed the police also.
