Scientist/ researchers from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has found out that a fish, named Opah, which lives in the Pacific Ocean is the World's first Warm Blooded One just alike mammals and birds.
Opah, a rusty reddish colour fish with white spots & bright red fins, is also known as the Moon-Fish. It weighs anywhere around 200 pounds (90 kgs) and current have a diameter of 3 feet but can expand up to 6 feet.
The Oval shape stays mostly at a depths of 165-1,300 feet to hunt fish and squid. It generates heat by constantly flapping its fins and maintains an average body temperature of about 4-5 degree C. Being warm-blooded have many advantages - faster swimmer, speed reaction, better eye & brain function and have the potential to withstand the effect of cold on vital organs.
