Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu today called on YSRCP Chief Jagan over phone and asked him to cooperate for unanimous byelection in Tirupati. Jagan responded by saying that the decision would be taken after discussing with the party officials, say sources.

Tirupati Assembly Segment fell vacant post the demise of sitting TDP MLA Venkataramana. By-Election in this constituency will happen on February 13th.
 
By-Poll Notification was issued on January 19th and the last date for filing nominations is January 27th. While the scruitizing of nominations will be on January 28th, Late Date for withdrawal of candidature is January 30th. Counting of votes will be on February 16th.
