The Master Plan developed by Singapore clearly states highly polluting Industries should be kept away from the Seed Capital. Hence, Only light or non-polluting Industries will be able to obtain permissions from the State Government if this model in followed.
Industries are classified into 3 Categories based on the range of pollution they cause. RED is the Highly Polluted Category (Ex: Petrochemicals & Pharmaceuticals)
AP Capital Master Plan recommends establishment of 'Less Polluting' Industries such as Electronic Manufacturing Units, Hardware Parks, Printing Units, Packaging Firms, Food Parks and Beverages Units. Master Plan allocated 12 hectares of land for Industrial start-up area purpose.
Master Plan - 5 Phases Jobs Creation: First Phase - 95,000 jobs, Second Phase - 1,60,000 jobs, Third Phase - 1,52,000 jobs, Fourth - 1,77,000, Fifth - 1,13,000.
