Reason behind TDP leaders planning to join TRS
Hyderabad: Teegala Krishna Reddy, TDP MLA from Maheswaram, Rangareddy district may quit party to join TRS party. TDP President Chandrababu Naidu has tried to convince him, but in vain. Later, while returning from his office, he told the media that he convened a meeting with his followers to take a final decision about leaving party. However, everyone knows that it is just routine statement that any politician would make after he made up his mind to jump wall. Probably, Teegala Krishna Reddy may announce that he is quitting TDP on the insistence of his followers.
TDP Telangana MLAs and leaders are bidding good bye to party because they are worried about their political future and there is no one to give them assurance for it. As long as TDP was in opposition, party president Chandrababu Naidu was used to spare his full time to concentrate on party affairs in Telangana. That’s why party remains intact even during the peak of Telangana agitations.
But, evidently he is unable to spare time to Telangana wing of the party after becoming Chief Minister of AP state. Although, he appoints L Ramana as party president for Telangana wing, he fails to lead the party and also is not a matching to any TRS leader. Moreover the temptations from ruling TRS party can’t be ignored. There are strong leaders like Errabelli, Revanth Reddy etc. but they fails to stand unite and chalk out action plans to strengthen the party base in Telangana. In fact, Telangana TDP leaders have to blame themselves for making the party strong and intact. So, many reasons like these make them very weak before ruling TRS party and encourage them to take its bait.
So in this context, it is understood that Chandrababu Naidu’s involvement is very necessary if he really wants to keep his party strong and intact in Telangana, otherwise it would be only a matter of time for TDP to disappear Telangana state.
