Hyderabad: On January 1, Jana Sena leader Pawan Kalyan caused a flutter in the political circles after he called on Telangana Chief Minister N Chandrasekhar Rao in Hyderabad.

The meeting between the Jana Sena founder and KCR raised eyebrows as speculation was rife that the duo had struck a political deal.

It's worth recalling that Telangana Congress leader Ponnam Prabhakar had alleged that Pawan met KCR to strike a secret deal ahead of the 2019 elections. Now, TRS MLC Karne Prabhakar has clarified saying Pawan met the Chief Minister to seek permission for premiere shows of his film Agnyaathavaasi. He further said that the TRS need not strike any kind of deal with Jana Sena.
