Costly Comedian Risking Political Future

7th April, 2015 6:03pm     Tollywood      Comments
Star comedian Ali is considered next to Brahmanandam in terms of per-day remuneration. Not just stars, but these comedians are costly stars, though they tend to act in almost every small-budgeted film also. Coming to Ali, he has political ambitions as he wants to contest from Guntur for either parliament or assembly rather his native Rajahmundry. But these ambitions may get punctured, if he fails to catch leaves before fire hurts him.

For the kind of sexist remarks Ali makes on heroines and anchors, surely political parties do think second time before giving him a ticket, if any. We are witnessing everyday how ministers, MPs and MLAs who make absurd comments on woman, rapes and moral-policing are distanced by own party high-commands. With political aspirations in mind, surely commenting on beauty and curves of a heroine don't yield Ali a place in the good books of people too. Which woman or girl votes for a MLA or MP who openly describes about the sexy-looks of another girl?

Sometimes, people may sound soft and warm towards Ali, but it's not the case in his absence. Many directors and heroes don't like the way Ali makes cheap fun of heroines. Though film Industry sounds male-chauvinistic, it's never that way as there is high regard for women here. As long as his comments are not inviting troubles for producers and directors, everything goes fine. Otherwise, Ali is at risk.
