Veteran producer Ramanaidu has breathed his last today after finally succumbing to cancer that is haunting him from a long time.

Thirteen years back, Ramanaidu has first time suffered with Prostate cancer. He was diagnosed and treated for the same, but the disease went on to relapse at times. He has visited so many hospitals and got treated my so many specialist doctors attending him.

However the most recent relapse of cancer has left him breathing through artificial equipment and he is confined to bed. Hero Rajasekhar used to supervise his treatment and Naidu is said to be responding positively. He used to speak about setting up film industry in Vizag with his younger son Venkatesh.

Finally, he succumbed to the cancer that is haunting him from last 13 years.
