Popular actor Venkatesh Daggubati, younger son of legendary filmmaker Ramanaidu who passed away on Wednesday, responded on the demise of his father and shared his sorrow with media. Informing the media on his dad's death, Venkatesh said, "My father had been suffering from cancer. He passed away today at 2.30 PM. His mortal body will be kept for display tomorrow at Ramanaidu Studios." Ramanaidu's final rites will be held Tomorrow. Ramanaidu was 78 years old.

Ramanaidu, a pioneer and a stalwart of Indian Film Industry, had set several records in career. Having produced over 100 films, and produced films in all Indian languages, Ramanaidu holds Guinness Book of Records for producing highest number of films and producing films in various languages.
