Hollywood stars Johnny Depp and Amber Heard have reportedly tied the knot.

The couple decided to say "I do" just days before their scheduled ceremony in the Bahamas. They wed during an intimate ceremony held in their Los Angeles home Tuesday, a source told People.

Depp, 51, and Heard, 28, were engaged in 2012 and met on the set of 2011's The Rum Diary.

However, a larger-than-life wedding is to take place this weekend at Depp's private island.

This is the second marriage for Depp, who was earlier married to makeup artist Lori Anne Allison from 1983 to 1985.
 
He split from longtime partner Vanessa Paradis in 2012.
