Nandamuri And Akkineni, The Big Difference

16th February, 2015 11:40pm     Tollywood      Comments
It is said that "rivalry" is between fans but not the star heroes. They say, heroes from Mega, Nandamuri, Akkineni and other happening camps have this love for each other. If so, are our heroes trying to blur that rivalry? A couple of recent incidents in two different acting-family camps shed light on things, which many biggies refuse to speak openly.

When a producer is trying to speak about Gabbar Singh and Pawan Kalyan at "Temper" audio launch, Bandla Ganesh who is standing beside him tried to prevent him by giving an unhappy gesture. Not stopping there, when an audio-visual is being played about director Puri Jagannadh, there is no visual or mentioning about the director's hit films like Badri, Pokiri, Desamuduru and Chirutha. Neither there is visual of Pawan, Mahesh or any other mega hero. Only Raviteja, to a bit Nagarjuna and Nitin are highlighted in the show reel.

Cut to the launching program of Akhil, a special AV was played about director Vinayak, without omitting any of his best flicks and all of his heroes. From Chiru to Jr NTR, Balayya to Prabhas, every movie of  Vinayak and its hero are made into a highlight.

Why this big DIFFERENCE? Why organisers of Nandamuri hero's Temper left stars from Mega camp and others like Mahesh Babu in the visuals and how come Akkineni camp showed everyone? This led to a strong discussion in Film Circle about how certain camps are remaining volatile with others.

Maybe the camp's heroes are not aware of these 'visual politics' aimed only at satisfying egos of fans, but surely these one-sided visuals lead to much before rivalry. High time for star heroes, to come out of shells and think about Film Loves as a whole.
