Death hoaxes especially with respect to film personalities have unfortunately become a routine in film industry now. Earlier, hoaxes about ANR, K Balachander, MS Narayana and others have broken out in media even much before their death.

Now another talented actor falls in the spree. After several Bollywood celebs, the latest one to fall victim to an online death hoax is veteran actor Shakti Kapoor. Since yesterday Social media was abuzz with the news that the 56-year-old actor had died in a car accident.

Shakti Kapoor‘s son Siddhanth has rubbished the death rumors of his father. Siddhanth took to Twitter to clarify the hoax. He tweeted:’’Its all rumours, my father is fine .. there was no accident., touchwood.. Please RETWEET all..

Shakti Kapoor is  also the father of  Ashiqui2 and ‘Ek Villain ‘actress Shraddha Kapoor. Shakti Kapoor  is a senior most actress known for her works in Bollywood. Her last notable appearance in Telugu was in Sahasam movie where he played villain role.
