Spa therapy to prep Chiru for 150th film

Looks like megastar Chiranjeevi is leaving no stone unturned for his comeback film. The latest we hear is that the actor-turned-politician, who is currently in Kerala, has checked into a spa for Ayurvedic massage and rejuvenation therapy.

A source close to the actor says, "Chiranjeevi is working on getting a slim, toned look for his 150th film. Since Kerala is famous for spas offering traditional and authentic therapies, he chose to go there. It is not just massages, but also includes a tailor-made diet for the actor."

Incidentally, the buzz about Chiranjeevi's 150th movie has become bigger ever since he showed some of his dance moves during a charity event a few months back. As a politician, Chiranjeevi gave no inkling of getting back to movies, but now, it seems he has taken it upon himself to get back into shape and is working out rigorously. "The actor has been hitting the gym regularly and has even shed a few kilos," shares the source.

Meanwhile, Chiru, who is on the lookout for the right script for the film, has entrusted the task to well-known writer-duo Paruchuri brothers (Paruchuri Gopalakrishna and Paruchuri Venkateswara Rao). Apparently, one of them is accompanying the actor in Kerala and discussing various plot lines.

"Paruchuri brothers have earlier scripted hit movies like Khaidi, Kondaveeti Donga, Stalin and a host of other films, and hence, Chiru has entrusted the job to them. They are on the lookout for a subject that will suit his personality whilst having an underlying message," says a source close to the writer-duo.
VV Vinayak is tipped to be the leading contender to direct the actor's landmark film, produced by Ram Charan.
