Movie: Chirunavvula Chirujallu
Release date: 13 March 2015
Director : Ahmed
Producer : V S Rami Reddy
Music Director : Harris Jayaraj
TimesofapRating: 3.0/5

After being away for 3 long years, Trisha is coming back to Telugu audience with a dubbing film, Chirunavvula Chirujallu, alongside Jiiva. She was last seen in NTR's Dammu and hence Chirunavvula Chirujallu is almost considered as a come back film of Trisha.

On the other side, Jiiva failed to score a hit post Rangam, though most of his Tamil films are dubbed in to Telugu. Let us see if Chirunavvula Chirujallu did well for the duo to enthrall the audience all over again.

Plot: The story of the film was weaved around a breezy romantic track along with friendship, comedy and sentiment. Jiva grows up with a distrust in women, because of his mother's abondenment and father's influence.

Vinay and Santhanam, who happens to be Jiiva's childhood buddies, also shares the same opinion and the trio decides to stay away from women. However, the story takes a turn when women enters into their life.

Chirunavvula Chirujallu tried to stand up to its title and tell a tale of smiles and love.

Performances: Jiiva plays a character that is suffering with numerous issues from top to toe and he conveys the inner turmoil effectively yet in a subtle way. The bond between Nasser and Jiiva was well written without much melodrama. The film deals with the childhood insecurities that create a negative impact on one's life.

Nasser is the perfect choice as a loving and understanding father. Trisha's role makes much difference to the film as it is not present merely for the sake of heroine's glamour. Beautiful love track and the feel makes the film a breezy entertainer. Andrea though has a lesser screen time she was brilliant as a sexy model.

The trio, Jiiva-Santhanam-Vinay, appears to be real time friends and of course Santhanam succeeded in sharing some hearty laughs. Vinay needs a special mention for his natural charm.

Technical Aspects: The film is a rich tale crafted partly in India and Europe. The picturesque locations and soothing songs makes it a perfect rom-com. Cinematographer Madhi did a commendable job. Harris Jayraj tunes where catchy though the Telugu lyrics did not go well. Director Ahmed has written many cliched scenes in the film, An accident, illness and that drama between hero and heroine.

Also, some of the dialogues are lifted from popularly circulated jokes. The first half of the film passes by quickly as it is largely fun filled. The editing of the film was well dealt and every scene melds with the other effortlessly.

Final Word: Though there are a bunch of films released today, Trisha-Jiiva's Chirunavvula Chirujallu comes out as a perfect entertainer. It makes you think with an underlying message in it and guarantees to bring a smile on your face. Go Watch and fall in love. PS: Only if u don't mind some cliched scenes.
