Malayalam super hit film How Old Are You, which was a box office hit in Mollywood, is remade into tamil.Hero suriya’s wife and veteran actress Jyothika reprised  Manju Warrier's role in the Kollywood version  and the film titled as "36 Vayadhinile".The first look and the title  was unveiled to celebrate the Women's Day (8 March).

The first look of "36 Vayadhinile" shows Jyothika posing with a pride. The look is simple yet captivating.The film marks Jyothika in a comeback role after seven years.The  story of the film revolves around a middle-aged woman. Hence, the makers have felt '36 Vayadhinile' would be the apt title. Ironically, Jyothika is 36-years old

The shooting of the film was completed in just 46 days. The Tamil version of the movie will have Rahman as the lead opposite Jyothika while Abhirami will play the role of her close friend in the movie.
