Tollywood ignored M.S. Narayana

entertainment,Tollywood,MS Narayana

M.S. Narayana, one of Tollywood’s top comedians who acted in more than 700 films in record time, passed away after a brief illness a few days back. Surprisingly, the Telugu film industry did not make any effort to pay their respects in a proper condolence meet.

The AP Film Chamber or other buildings connected with it have in the recent past been the venue for condolence meetings for other Tollywood personalities who passed away.

But for M.S. Narayana, no one, neither the Movie Artistes Association (MAA), nor the AP Film Chamber of Commerce nor the Telugu Film Producers Council nor the Directors Association came forward to organise a condolence meet.

“M.S. Narayana was one our finest actors and was also a director and a writer. In just 20 years, he acted in more than 700 films, which is not an easy task.

It is very sad that the industry ignored him,” says a source. When the family members asked the MAA about the meet, the reply was, “We do not organise such meetings these days”.
