Tamil actor Vishal has been roped as the brand ambassador of Thums Up in Tamil Nadu. He now joins the list of celebs like Salman Khan and Mahesh Babu who were endorsing the cola brand.

A new TV Commercial has been shot with Vishal recently. Ram Sampath of Omgrown Music composed music and Kapil Sharma directed it under the RU Films production banner.

Actually, Thums Up is the first endorsement of Vishal. The actor feels the brand is synonymous with the spirit of resilience, passion and inspiration. He even visited the Thums Up plant few days ago. "Finally it's out .. Super happy and excited !!," he wrote, while sharing the Youtube link of the Thums Up TVC.

Can Vishal match the charisma and star power of Salman Khan and Mahesh Babu in any way? His choice is a bit surprising and we have to wait & watch to know if it works or not!
