Ace filmmaer AR Murugadoss seems to be elated with the defeat of Sri Lankan president Mahinda Rajapaksa's defeat in Presidential poll 2015.
 
Apparently, Murugadoss had to face several hurdles for the release of his llast flick 'Kaththi' just because of the reports that the production house Lyca was owned by people who holds good relations with Mahinda Rajapaksa. The makers had removed Lyca from all the publicity material and in the title cards as well to ensure it gets a smooth release.
 
After coming to know about the results of Sri Lanka Presidential poll, AR Murugadoss opined, "Nice start to the New year !!! It's time to celebrate Rajapaksa's defeat !!".
 
With his reaction to Rajapaksa's defeat, Murugadoss yet again proved that he is Tamilian at heart and will remain so forever.
