TTDP leaders demand for cancellation of TRS party in Telangana

Telangana Telugu Desam Party leaders met President Pranab Mukherjee and Chief Election Commissioner H S Brahma in Delhi on March 17 against the TRS government for encouraging defections.

After meeting the president, addressing the media here, Errabelli Dayakar Rao charged Chief Minister K Chandashekar Rao with luring the leaders of other parties in gross violation of democratic norms.

He alleged that Speaker S. Madhusudana Chary had failed to respond to their requests to take action against Talasani Srinivas Yadav and others for switching loyalties which was brought to the notice of the president.

The TRS government did not heed to notices and instructions by the court in this regard, he said. The TDP leaders complained to the President against Governor E S L Narasimhan, Speaker of the Assembly and Chairman of the Council for failing to take action against the defectors.

Warangal MP Kadiyam Srihari who joined TRS from TDP has not resigned to the MP post after being inducted into the KCR's cabinet as a Minister. The same was also complained to the President, said TDP Leader Errabelli.

TDP leaders submitted a requisition letter to the Chief Election Commissioner H S Brahma, asking him to cancel the TRS party in the Telangana state as the party is committed to undemocratic practices, added Dayakar Rao.

Telangana TDP leaders' trip to delhi was overall a great success as the President Pranab Mukherjee and Chief Election Commissioner H S Brahma reacted positively to our requests , said Errabelli.
