Akkineni Nagarjuna’s younger son Akhil, who made a fairly confident debut with Akhil is likely to team up with sensible filmmaker Krish for his second movie. Impressed with the output of Kanche, sources say Nagarjuna has approached Krish to work on a story for his son. Apparently, Krish requested some time and is currently busy preparing the script for Akhil, says the buzz.
Featuring Varun Tej and Pragya Jaiswal in the lead, Kanche is set in the backdrop of World War II. Varun’s portrayal as a brave soldier Dhupati Hari Babu has evoked wide appreciation from all quarters. A couple of days ago Nagarjuna too heaped praises on Varun Tej and the entire team of Kanche for their efforts.
Although rumours were doing rounds about Akhil joining hands with Trivikram Srinivas for his second outing, things never materialized as the maverick filmmaker is busy with A…Aa and also working on a script for Ram Charan’s next. If everything falls in place, Akhil and Krish’s film is likely to go onto the sets early next year. An official confirmation is awaited.
