Over expectations on Pawan Kalyan's forthcoming Sardaar Gabbar Singh are signalling danger. As film's pre-release business is estimated as around Rs 70 Core to Rs 80 Crore, trade analysts are cautioning distributors, buyers to be wary of the consequences.
Ipso facto is that Pawan himself provided story and screenplay for the film. Given that Pawan's previous writing venture Johnny was a box-office dud. So betting high on Pawan's writing is not so suggestible. Also so far sequels or franchises weren't successful in Telugu film industry including recent Kick 2.
In addition to this, it's learnt from the latest reports that the film's theatrical rights are being sold on prior condition that money won't be returned if film fails to perform at the Box Office.
Notwithstanding this, buyers are queued to buy film's rights. If anything goes wrong, buyers would lose hefty sum as they're buying it for whopping prices. So, Pawan is definitely under huge pressure to deliver. Let's see.
