Popular character artiste Ahuti Prasad, who passed away on Sunday afternoon, was laid to rest at the Erragadda cemetery. On Monday morning, Chiranjeevi, Mohan Babu and Prakash Raj visited Prasad’s house to pay their tributes.
Prakash recalled his friendship with Ahuti Prasad. “I used to stay in hotels, whenever I came to Hyderabad for shooting. It was Prasad who actually advised me to buy a house here and also helped me get one.
He had a very helpful nature. I asked him a few times about his health; though he knew that he had cancer, he kept it secret,” says Prakash Raj.
Chiranjeevi and Mohan Babu, too, recollected their memories of Ahuti Prasad. Mohan Babu said that, he and the late actor worked first in Assembly Rowdy and continued with many films.
“He was a good human being and always helpful,” says Mohan Babu. Chiranjeevi said that, Ahuti Prasad was one of the best character artistes and the industry lost a good human being.
