Despite being lauded for giving one of the performances of the year in Queen, Kangana Ranaut, who is currently working on Tanu Weds Manu 2, says that she is still not confident about her position in the industry.
She, however, says that she is not bothered with competition. “I don’t see any competition because no one has done work like me. Competition is getting into others’ spaces and grabbing their roles,” says Kangana.
The actress says her role in Tanu Weds Manu 2 is quite different from the first. “In Tanu Weds Manu, she was a mean girl and knew how to make her way into men’s hearts and make the most of her looks and charm and teased men. This girl is naïve and is heartbroken and is very Indian, she has no confidence. She is totally opposite,” she says.
When asked what she feared most, the actress says, “I am scared of being jobless. Many a times I wake up thinking what if I don’t get work anymore? Where will I go and what will I do? That’s why I make this constant effort not to be idle and keep working continuously,” she concludes.
