His villainism acts was also noted by Kollywood filmmakers and he palyed villain role in Super Star Rajinikanth in Lingaa.  He is making his strong presence felt in few other movies like Srimanthudu and NTR’s untitled film.

According to the latest updates, Jagapathi Babu has recently signed for another powerful in a Tamil film with creative  director Selvaraghavan. As per the latest news, he has been roped in to play an important role in the film which also stars Simbu, Trisha and Taapsee in key roles. The main story will revolve around these four characters.Selvaraghavan has been busy with the pre production work of his next project and this film will start from the second week of June.
