It seems some unfortunate winds are haunting the south Indian film industry’s noted people as they are getting entangled with the judicial matters in the recent times. As yesterday Malayalam hero Shine Tom Chacko was arrested for possessing Cockaine, now a veteran director of Kollywood faced an arrest warrant.

Reportedly, actor Dhanush’s father and veteran filmmaker Kasthuri Raja has been slapped on an arrest warrant by the magistrate court for allegedly issuing an invalid cheque to one of his financiers. According to the reports, Kasthuri Raja barrowed around Rs 65lakhs from a financier called Mukun Chand and later issued two cheques.

But when the financier approached the bank to withdraw money, it bounced due to not having enough money in the accounts. So, after hearing the complaint, the court issued an arrest warrant against Kasthuri Raja as he also failed to appear before the court in the past. The court has adjourned the next hearing till 13th February.
